How to Host a Sunday Coffee Hour

COFFEE HOUR HOSTS NEEDED

two people sit at a wooden table, each holding a cup of coffee

Coffee is more than just a java jump in the morning; it’s something we all have in common. Coffee is a tradition that brings people together. When enjoyed at church, it fuels fellowship and underscores the importance of community, not to mention lifting the spirit.

It’s about inviting visitors to stay a little longer, get to know each other better, and make church more than just an hour-long to-do in their day. The focus is to bring people together in order to strengthen the bonds of the church community. Really, it’s amazing to think that one simple beverage has the power to do such great things.

Church is always the heart, but coffee is akin to the lifeblood of the community. It’s good old-fashioned hospitality, welcoming long-term members and new visitors alike.

Please consider offering coffee hour once a year (or more). If doing so alone is daunting, you can always co-sponsor, and perhaps get to know another person or family a little better in the process.

If you are able to host a coffee hour, please contact Marguarite at 917-459-7533 or pick a Sunday on Sign Up Genius to schedule a Sunday that works for you and you will be contacted with further information. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!
