National Philoptochos Board Meets, Attend Salutations
NEW YORK – (March 3, 2017) The Board of the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society (National Philoptochos) met at the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, on the first Friday of lent, March 3, 2017. His Eminence Archishop Demetrios Geron of America addressed the meeting during their morning session. The board members also met with the Philoptochos spiritual advisor, His Grace Bishop Sevastianos of Zela. In the evening the ladies of the Philoptochos attended the service of the Salutations to the Theotokos at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, with Archbishop Demetrios officiating.
