2004 Patriarchal Visit to the US
3/13/2004 Morristown, NJ. His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew arrived today at the Morristown Airport from Constantinople, for a first time visit to the Metropolis of New Jersey. Metropolitan Evangelos welcomed His All Holiness along with Greek Officials,Hierarchs and Laity. His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios welcomed His All Holiness on behalf of the Orthodox Faithful in America. Greek Ambassador Adamantios Vasilakis and Greek Consul General to NY Katerina Boura also welcomed His All Holiness. Children presented flowers upon the arrival at the airport and later His All Holiness and his entourage proceeded to the Holy Trinity Church of Westfield, NJ where the children presented the Sights and Sound Program. .
