Holy Week was spiritually rewarding at the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation this year. The parish serves 700 families in the greater Buffalo area. It had been some years, possibly the first time ever, in Buffalo since the last time the community celebrated Pascha outdoors. However this year, an enthusiastic group of faithful, led by Fr. Christos joyfully proclaimed the Resurrection of our Lord on the stoop of our Church at the corner of Delaware and West Utica. Though this tradition is commonly celebrated throughout our Archdiocese, it was a unique experience for many of our faithful here in Buffalo who had not, until this year, had the opportunity to celebrate in this fashion.
