Here at our church you will find about 350 families who are some of the warmest and friendliest people around, all united by our mission: To lead people to God through Orthodox Christianity and to provide ways for them to live and share in God’s love.

Glass and the Arts in the Byzantine Empire

Dr. Anastasios Antonaras from the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki, Greece will be this year’s lecturer for the annual Dr. John and Helen Collis Lecture at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Save the date for this very popular event. The lecture, “Glass and The Arts in the Byzantine Empire”, will be Sunday, September 28, at 2:00 pm in the Gartner Auditorium. Free tickets are required, and can be reserved starting August 1st on line at clevelandart.org or by calling the museum’s ticket center at 216-421-7350 or 1-888-CMA-0033.

The deadline for the September/October issue is Wednesday, August 27 and will be mailed to homes in the second week of September. Include all schedules, announcements, etc. thru October.

Registration Sunday

The OE Church School, Greek School and all Youth Ministries will host in person registration on Sun., Sept. 7 following Divine Liturgy. Staff, students and advisors will be blessed in Church. Everyone should plan on attending. OE classes will begin on Sun., Sept. 14 and Greek School will begin Sat., Sept. 20, 2014.
